Weather & Cancellation Policy

Safety is our absolute priority. We monitor Environment Canada weather conditions continuously.

Automatic Cancellation Conditions:

• Wind speeds exceeding 25 km/h
• Thunderstorm warnings or severe weather alerts
• Visibility less than 1 kilometer
• Water temperature below 15°C
• Ice conditions or hazardous water conditions

Refund Policy:

• Weather Cancellations: 100% refund or free rescheduling
• 24+ Hours Notice: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
• Same Day Cancellation: 50% refund for non-weather related cancellations

Weather decisions are final and made for customer safety. Alternative dates offered with no additional fees.

Insurance Coverage Details

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage through our licensed provider.

Coverage Includes:

• Liability Insurance: Up to $2,000,000 third-party coverage
• Property Damage: Full coverage for third-party property damage
• Personal Injury: Medical expenses up to $50,000
• Equipment Damage: $500 deductible applies for watercraft damage

Customer Responsibilities:

• Report any incidents immediately
• Provide accurate information on rental forms
• Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
• Damage caused by negligence: Customer liable for full repair costs

Assumption of Risk

I understand that jet ski operation involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

• Collision with other watercraft, swimmers, or objects
• Mechanical failure or equipment malfunction
• Weather-related incidents and rough water conditions
• Personal injury, property damage, or death

Release of Claims

I hereby release, waive, and discharge GTA Jet Ski Rentals – Best Toronto Area Jet Ski Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising from my participation in jet ski activities.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless GTA Jet Ski Rentals – Best Toronto Area Jet Ski Rentals from any claims arising from my actions or negligence while using the watercraft.

Digital signature required at time of rental. Guardian signature required for minors.

Licensing & Certifications

Regulatory Compliance

• Transport Canada: All vessels registered and inspected annually
• Provincial Regulations: Ontario Marine Safety compliance
• Municipal Permits: Operating permits for all service areas
• Environmental: Spill response and environmental protection protocols

Staff Qualifications

• Pleasure Craft Operator Cards (PCOC)
• Marine Emergency Response certification
• First Aid and CPR certified
• Ongoing safety training and updates
