Yes, you need a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) or equivalent boating license to operate a jet ski in Ontario waters. We can provide a temporary license during your PWC rental.

You can explore designated areas around Toronto Islands, Mississauga waterfront, Oakville Harbour, and Burlington Beach. We provide guidance for safe riding zones and restricted areas to avoid.

Safety is our priority. If weather conditions are unsafe (high winds, storms, etc.), we offer full refunds or free rescheduling. We monitor Environment Canada weather reports continuously.

How long do you want to rent for?

All persons who would like to operate our Jet Ski need to be over 21 years of age with a Valid Driver’s License and must obtain a PLEASURE CRAFT OPERATOR CARD (PCOC). It is recommended to get one before renting the watercraft. However, we may provide a PCOC valid for 24 hours on the day of rental.

A Damage Deposit is required for ALL Rentals. The amount of Damage Deposit is $1000 for Jet Skis. It can be paid via credit card, E-transfer or cash before the booking starts, to cover any incidental damage that may occur during the rental which shall be decided after an inspection of the Jet Ski when returned.

Cardholder must be present to sign for all charges for the rental and to sign off on the Rental Agreement. Customers will be responsible for the cost of any repairs required to the damage they caused to a jet ski, or other equipment.

Age Requirements: Minimum age 16 to operate. Minors must be accompanied by guardian.
License Required: Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) mandatory for all operators.
Safety Equipment: Life jackets, whistle, and emergency kit provided with each rental.
Speed Limits: 10 km/h in designated areas. No wake zones strictly enforced.
Operating Hours: Daylight hours only. Night operation prohibited.
Weather Conditions: Operations suspended in winds exceeding 25 km/h or during storms.
Prohibited Activities: No towing, jumping, or reckless operation.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

Safety is our absolute priority. We monitor Environment Canada weather conditions continuously.

Automatic Cancellation Conditions:

Wind speeds exceeding 25 km/h
Thunderstorm warnings or severe weather alerts
Visibility less than 1 kilometer
Water temperature below 15°C
Ice conditions or hazardous water conditions

Refund Policy:

Weather Cancellations: 100% refund or free rescheduling
24+ Hours Notice: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
Same Day Cancellation: 50% refund for non-weather related cancellations

Weather decisions are final and made for customer safety. Alternative dates offered with no additional fees.

Insurance Coverage Details

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage through our licensed provider.

Coverage Includes:

Liability Insurance: Up to $2,000,000 third-party coverage
Property Damage: Full coverage for third-party property damage

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using GTA Jet Ski Rentals – Best Toronto Area Jet Ski Rentals services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Rental Requirements

Must be 18+ years old with valid government-issued ID
Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) required
Security deposit of $500 required
Credit card authorization for damages

3. Prohibited Activities

Operating under influence of alcohol/drugs
Exceeding designated riding areas
Reckless or dangerous operation
Commercial use without written permission

4. Payment Terms

Full payment required at booking. Cancellation policy applies as outlined in our weather policy. Late returns subject to additional charges of $50 per hour.

5. Limitation of Liability

Company liability limited to rental fee paid. Customer assumes all risks associated with watercraft operation.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge GTA Jet Ski Rentals – Best Toronto Area Jet Ski Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising from my participation in jet ski activities.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless GTA Jet Ski Rentals – Best Toronto Area Jet Ski Rentals from any claims arising from my actions or negligence while using the watercraft.
